BASED IN ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA
At Elk River Chiropractic we believe in helping people experience life to their fullest potential. We offer many different adjusting techniques and therapies to best help each patient and tailor the care specific to their needs. Our goal is to help each person live a more pain free, mobile, healthier life, maintaining balance of their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual stress.
Manual adjusting is our primary method of treatment. It is the use of our hands to facilitate the realignment of the misaligned bone. It allows the practitioner to physically assess and address each individual muscle and bone and tailer the treatment spicific to each segnemt. If a manual adjustment is not an option or is not the best option then an adjusting tool called an activator or a drop table can be used.
We offer multiple different types of taping for patients. We provide athletic taping, supportive taping, and rehabilitative taping. Kiniseology tape and Dynamic tape are two of our primary tapes used with patients.
Acupuncture can be used for many different things. We provide acupuncture for the improvement of the mind, body and spirit. Some of the main uses are to release and minimize low back pain, headaches, increase blood and energy flow, treat inbalances in the different pathways of the body, and release muscle tension and myofascial adhesions.
Graston is a form of instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization. This is the use of different tools to break down scar tissue and adhesions in soft tissue, improve circulation, and improve range of motion and function.
Cupping is a therapy that help to improve circulation, break up scar tissue and adhesions, improves range of motion and flexibility, and promotes blood flow in soft tissue.
Manual muscle release is the manual stripping and breaking down of scar tissue, adhesions, and other soft tissue lesions to facilitate better range of motion, functionality, and less pain. It implements the manual traction over muscles, adhesion, scar tissue, or trigger points.
We offer the required pre-participation physicals that are often required for students to participate in sports at school or in some cases different athletic organizations.
Ultrasound is used to reduce inflammation, improve circulation, stimulate healing on a deeper cellular level, reduce pain, and improve mobility.
Percussion massage helps to reduce and relax hypertonic muscles, break up scar tissue and adhesions, improve circulation, blood flow, and lymphatic flow. Percussion massage also helps to improve muscle recovery after working out, or streneous work.
We are excited to announce that we are completing the national education and certification necessary to provide the national Department of Transortation Physical exams on site at our clinic. We will notify everyone when the certification is complete and we are in a position to provide this service to our community.

Dr. Jordan Alberts was born and raised in Vancouver Washington. He grew up playing different sports but his favorite was wrestling. Through wrestling he learned many life lessons and gained many traits that shaped him into who he is today. In 2009 Dr. Alberts moved to Minnesota where he met his wife Kayleigh and they started their life together. He started in health care working as a rehab specialist at a chiropractic office. This gave him the passion to follow chiropractic as his lifelong career. He attended Northwestern Health Science University where we completed a bachelors of Human Biology, a Doctorate of Chiropractic, national acupuncture certification. In April 2019 he purchased Elk River Chiropractic after owning another practice for a year and a half and merged the two together.
We are located in the heart of old Main St. downtown, and are very community and family based. We believe that each individual patient requires care that is specific to their needs, and we make sure that every appointment provides the best possible adjustments and therapies. At Elk River Chiropractic we offer three separate adjusting styles and many different therapies.
Dr. Jordan is great with our whole family from kids to adults. Always taking the extra time to understand what's going on. Thorough adjustments and very personable.

So thankful for Jordan! I woke up on a holiday weekend with a lot of pain and my normal chiropractor was closed for the holiday. Jordan went in and opened his office for me to be seen. Because of him I can actually breathe better.

Each new patient receives a consultation and exam and will have their first treatment that same day. We don't do x-rays on the first visit or on site but can coordinate them if we feel it medically necessary. Each care plan is specific to your needs.
